Its never been easier to get the support you need. Video conferencing has come a long way and research shows that online based therapy is just as effective as face to face, with the added benefits of increased convenience and accessibility.
All you need is a private space, a device (e.g. laptop/phone/tablet) with a camera and an internet connection.
Fees
A 50-minute appointment is $210. With a valid referral made under a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP), a Medicare rebate* of $98.95 is available.
Please note, this is considerably lower than the Australian Psychology Society’s (APS) recommended rate for standard consultations, which is currently $318 (as of 1 July 2025).
*Medicare rebates are paid directly into your bank account soon after your claim has been submitted.
